Tasting the mountains and the sea

First tasted this wine at the vineyard on Mount Etna. I was blown away! It is such a pleasant red wine. It’s full bodied but somehow light. Can be paired with red meat, cheese but also goes well with salmon. The nose is fresh and fruity. The taste full bodied with a hint of sea air and effervescent. One of my favorites to serve on any occasion. I keep going back for more.

You must try these wines!

We ordered both red and white wines which we sampled during winery visit in April 2024. Drinking the wine at home transported us back to Sicily and the wonderful afternoon we spent at the Gambino Winery. You must try their olive oil also... Best in the world!!
